The Precensus Course Credit Exchange from is used when an instructor believes a student should be in a higher level course than what the student tested into. The course exchanged must be in the same semester and must be exchanged by the census date of each course. The dropped course will not be dropped after census and the added course will not be added after census. The instructor begins this process, but the chair and the dean of the department must sign off on it as well.
