The “Incomplete” grade is a temporary grade and is designed for students who, because of documented illness or circumstances beyond their control, are unable to complete their coursework within the semester, but have completed at least 75 percent of all course assignments and tests in a satisfactory manner with a grade of “C” or better.

The incomplete grade process begins with the instructor, but the form is submitted to Office of Registration & Records by the department.

Note for students: Course work should be completed before the end of the next consecutive fall or spring semester, or an earlier deadline if specified by the instructor.
