The Community College of Denver is proud to host First Generation Celebration Day on November 6, 2025, a nationally recognized event honoring the achievements, resilience, and unique contributions of first-generation students. The day will kick off with tabling at Cherry Creek with pastries and coffee and transition into a game-based tabling activity in the Cherry Creek Lobby that starts at 11, where campus partners will offer interactive experiences designed to foster connection and community. Students can enjoy free pizza and drinks during lunch, snap photos at a 1st-gen-themed photo booth, and engage with peers in a welcoming, celebratory atmosphere. The event will conclude with a keynote speaker who will share their inspiring journey as a first-generation student and their path to becoming a professional in higher education.
